The Surgery May 23rd

The surgery went very well on Saturday. It lasted approximately 4 hours and Andrew is doing much better. He is presently still in the hospital, but the road rash is beginning to look much better. He is still in quite a bit of pain which is to be expected, but he was able to walk a short distance and sit in a chair which is a step in the right direction. Andrew is very independent so this is very hard for him, but with his family, friends, and amazing girlfriend, I think he will be able to make it through this whole ordeal and come out just fine in the long run. Granted this has been a terrible experience, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason and I am very grateful that my brother is going to be ok. Please keep him in your prayers and remind those you love to ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. Thank you all for your support.
